1. NOTICE TO ALL GUESTS
This property is privately owned. The camper accepts camping privileges with the understanding that he/she does hereby release Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort, its officers and employees of all liability for the loss or damage to property and injury to his/her person arising out of his/her use of resort facilities and agrees to indemnify the resort, its officers and employees, against claims resulting from loss or damage to property or injury to the person or any member of the family or guest of the registered camper arising out of the use of its resort facilities.
Entrance to the property constitutes permission for the staff and management of Akron/Canton Jellystone to photograph or video record anyone while on premises, and to use any resulting pictures/video for any lawful purpose without compensation to the individual. Guest agrees to follow all rules and policies of Akron/Canton Jellystone and accepts responsibility for the actions of the guests, visitors, extra people or animals registered/attached to their reservation or to their site.
2. RANGERS RULES
We do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature or early departure. The fun continues rain or shine. Cancellations made up to 7 days before non-holiday arrivals or 14 days on holiday/special weekends will be offered a refund, less a $30 processing fee. Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to arrival are not eligible for a refund but may be offered resort credit, less a $30 processing fee. Resort credit is good valid until October 23, 2023; regardless of when the credit is issued.
The total must be paid in full at the time of reservation to reserve a cabin or campsite.

Cabin rates are based on 4 persons. Additional guests are $15/adult/night. A maximum of 6 people are allowed in each cabin. Cabin reservations checking in Friday or Saturday require a two night minimum. Holiday weekends require a minimum 3 night stay. A maximum of one vehicle is allowed per cabin. Pets are not allowed in or on cabin sites at any time for any reason. NO SMOKING in the cabins. Tents or trailers are not permitted at cabin site. Bring your own: Pillows, blankets, linens and towels, health & beauty supplies, food, & drinks. Lawn chairs are recommended for comfort around the campfire. NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD ALLOWED, per state law. We have charcoal and firewood available for purchase in the store.

We are a Pet Friendly Park and friendly pets are always welcomed.
Guests are responsible to “clean up” after their pet. All pet droppings must be properly disposed of in a trash receptacle. Pets must be kept on a maximum 6-foot leash at all times and under the control of their owner. Pets may not be left outside unattended. Guests should carry proof of pet’s current vaccinations. Pets are prohibited in Resort buildings and amenity areas. For the protection of, and in consideration of all of our guests, noisy, vicious, or unruly pets are not allowed. Guests who are unable to control their pets must remove them from the premises. Resort is not responsible for and will hold accountable pet owner for any injury or damage caused by pet(s). In addition, owner of pet that causes injury or damage to others is expected to resolve the issue directly with the injured party.
Pets are not welcome in any cabins or at any cabin site.
There will be a $50 fee charged to those customers with dogs that fail to clean up after their pet.
SEASONAL BACKGROUND CHECK POLICIES
Akron Canton Jellystone Park™-Camp Resort is committed to providing a safe and family friendly environment for its campers. Thus, all adults ages 18+ applying for seasonal campsites must consent to a criminal background check in order to be considered for admission.
Akron Canton Jellystone Park™ will not admit persons that it determines could endanger its campers and/or property based on the results of a criminal background check. Such determinations will be made on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration factors such as the nature and severity of the offense(s) and the amount of time that has passed since the conviction(s). Applicants with convictions for sexual, violent, and/or alcohol related offenses, will be subject to scrutiny. In addition, any person who has been convicted of manufacturing and/or distributing controlled substances will not be considered for admission.
A $30 non-refundable fee per registered adult will be collected for the background check.
VISITOR & GUEST POLICIES
All campers, guests, and visitors to Akron Canton Jellystone Park™-Camp Resort must register at the Ranger Station upon arrival. Guests and visitors must pay an admission fee. Maximum of eight (8) people per campsite including visitors. Day pass guests are $15 per person and includes use of all amenities. Dinner guests are $5 per person 5:00 pm-9:00 pm and does not include use of amenities. All guests must depart by 9:00 pm. Guests/visitors on the premises past 9:00 pm and all unregistered guest/visitors will be considered trespassers and will be required to leave the premises.
Entrance onto the campground property constitutes permission for the management of Akron Canton Jellystone Park™ to photograph the visitor while on the premises and to use any resulting pictures for any lawful purpose without compensation to the visitor.
The guest assumes all risks and danger incidental to the activity of camping in a rustic outdoors environment, including specifically (but not exclusively) the danger of being injured by insects or other animals, of being injured while participating in recreational activities, such as hiking, swimming or boating at the Camp-Resort or of being injured as a result of inclement weather conditions, and agrees that the Camp-Resort and its owners, agents and employees are not liable for injuries or property damages resulting from such causes.
3. TERMS & CONDITIONS
Just as each of our Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resorts are unique and distinguished, their respective rates, packages, special promotions, and policies may vary. We always recommend our guests verify these details when making or confirming a reservation at a fellow Jellystone Park™.
Prior to your arrival, you can find the scheduled activities for your stay by visiting our Facebook Page. The schedule is posted on Wednesday for the upcoming weekend. Please also download the Jellystone Park™ App on the App Store or Google Play Store the to view our map, activity schedule, campground services, alerts, campground news, and be social with other campers. Please search for “Akron-Canton, Ohio”.
Check-in time for RV/tent site is 2 pm, Cabin check-in time is 3 pm. Upon arrival, please stop in the Ranger Station to check in and pick up your welcome packet and wristbands. Each guest is required to wear the wristband supplied during the check in process. Wristbands enable guests to participate in scheduled activities, mini-golf and admission to the pool (in season) without extra charges. Wristbands are non-transferable, lost bands are replaced at a cost of $15 each. Early check-in is $25, this excludes cabins.
Check Out time is 11:00 am for all sites and cabin rentals. Please check-out at the office prior to departure. Cabin keys not turned in by 11 am with be subjected to a $60/per hour fee. There are no refunds for early departures. If you would like to extend your stay, please contact the office at 330-877-9800 prior to 11 am. Late check out may be available for a $25 fee (peak season) and $15 fee (value season) to stay until 6 pm, subject to availability, this excludes cabins.
Late Arrivals: Please call if you plan to arrive after 9 pm to make arrangements. You must stop in the Ranger Station by 10 am the following morning to pick up your welcome packet and wristbands.
NO outside firewood is to be brought into the park, per state law. Firewood is available to purchase on site for $7.75/bundle or 7.25/bundle for 3+ bundles.
Golf Carts, ATVs, and mopeds are prohibited at Akron Canton Jellystone Park™. Bicycles are permitted, children under 14 are required to wear a helmet.

Occupancy: Must be 21 years of age to rent a camp a campsite, unless otherwise stated. Camping Rates are based on 4 persons. All extra adults and children over the 4 allotted are $15/night/person and daily visitors are $15/person. Once guest/day visitor has checked into site, extra guest and visitor fee’s become non-refundable. No more than 8 people total (including children & day visitors) per camp site. No more than 6 people total (including children & day visitors) per cabin. All vehicles must have a car pass. Only one (1) car per site, please do not park on the grass. Extra cars must park in main parking lot.
Force of Nature: Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort will not be liable for any change or cancelation of any reservation that is caused, in whole or in part, by events, occurrences, or causes beyond the control of Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort. Such events, occurrences, or causes include without limitation: acts of God, terrorist activities, weather, strikes, lockouts, riots, acts of war, earthquake, fire and explosions.
Rate/Reservation Validity: Reservation confirmations are provided to you solely for your convenience. Akron Canton Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort, with an address of 12712 Hoover Ave NW, Uniontown OH 44685 and/or its affiliates or subsidiaries retain official records of reservation transactions, including details of dates of stay and site rates. In the event of discrepancies, alterations, modifications, or variations between this confirmation and our official records, our official records shall control. Tampering with this confirmation to alter the site rate or any other reservation information is strictly prohibited and will have legal consequences.
4. CODE OF CONDUCT
Akron Canton Jellystone Park™ is a family oriented park. We want everyone to have fun, enjoy our facilities and have a relaxing stay. Please respect other campers and our park facilities. Please inform all members of your camping party of the policies of the Camp-Resort. Please abide by all posted regulation signage throughout the Camp-Resort.
Parents are responsible for their children’s actions. Children ages 12 and under are to be accompanied by an adult to comfort stations and the pool. All children under 18 are to be at their site during quiet hours.
For the enjoyment of all our guests, smoking is not permitted inside any building on the Camp-Resort property or in any pool area.
Campfires are part of the camping experience and are allowed in the fire rings or in a charcoal grill only. They must be properly extinguished when not attended and must be of reasonable size so as not to endanger anyone or anything. We follow the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (“DNR”) recommendations for firewood and ask that you do not bring firewood onto our property. At the request of the DNR, help us control the spread of the emerald ash borer. You are the best weapon we have against this exotic beetle that has already killed 25 million ash trees in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. For your convenience, the Ranger Station store has wood bundles available for purchase.
Proper swim attire in the pool area is required. Cut offs and street clothes are not acceptable. Parents need to accompany children 12 years old or younger while in the pool area. Children must be in swim diapers if not trained.
Safe, slow driving is a must! The speed limit is 5 miles per hour! Children are at play throughout the park. Please remember, pedestrians and bicycles have the right away!
To ensure that each guest has a quality camping experience, quiet hours are enforced each night from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. During this time, please keep voices and other noises to a minimum and turn off any amplified sound. Please ensure that noise, human or otherwise, cannot be heard beyond your site boundary. At all times, please be mindful of other guests and refrain from making excessive noise. Any loud noise, which in the opinion of Camp-Resort management could disturb others, will not be tolerated and will be handled in the appropriate fashion. In addition, all children under 18 must be at their site after 10:00 pm. These requirements apply equally to all guests and their invitees. In the event the Camp-Resort has a scheduled activity that extends past 10:00 pm, affected guests will be asked to be at their campsite no later than 15 minutes after the conclusion of the scheduled activity.
In order to provide an appealing atmosphere for all guests, space has been provided at each site for one vehicle and an RV. All parking at the campsite is restricted to the site’s parking pad. Overflow parking for additional vehicles is available in designated areas. For information regarding these areas, please inquire at the Ranger Station office. All guests will be required to display a parking pass at all times while in the park.
Clotheslines are not permitted at your campsite. Washers and dryers are provided for your convenience in the Ranger Station complex. Bikes and skateboards should be put away at dusk. Camp-Resort management does not permit rollerblades, skateboards, bicycles or scooters of any kind on sidewalks or inside buildings. Only ADA compliant scooters are permitted in these areas for our special needs guests. Dirt bike and ATV riding is prohibited on Camp-Resort property.
The common areas at Jellystone Park™ are intended for the use and enjoyment of every guest. No guest will be excluded from any common area in the park unless the area has been reserved for a specific group or purpose with the approval of park management. Reservation requests may be granted or withheld in management’s sole discretion and must be submitted to management at least 48 hours in advance of the reservation start time.
Pets are allowed in the Camp-Resort. The pet owner is responsible for cleaning up after the pet and keeping the pet under control (leashed and refrained from excessive barking) throughout the entire Camp-Resort. If you are using an electric fence barrier at your site, it must be clearly posted. If your pet is leashed, the leash is not permitted to extend beyond your site boundaries. Due to heath regulations, pets are not allowed in the rental units, pool area, comfort stations or Ranger Station. We ask that there be no more than 2 pets per site. Exceptions to this request are at the discretion of the Camp-Resort Management.
Please help keep our park beautiful, do not litter (including cigarette butts) or harm/destroy any trees. Please place all garbage in dumpsters located throughout the Camp-Resort. See site map for actual locations.
No fireworks, firearms or weapons of any kind are permitted on Camp-Resort property.
Alcoholic beverages are allowed in moderation at your campsite. Beer and wine are not permitted off of your campsite.
Dumping of grey water or sewage on the ground is in violation of State Law.
As a matter of courtesy, our guests are to exercise good sense and respect for others. Please remember that we enforce our rules to protect our guests and our park. Management reserves the right to evict, at our discretion and without refund, any person whose conduct is objectionable or violates our Camp-Resort’s policies.
