Featuring 550,000 gallon swimming pool with water slides and a diving board, making it Stark County’s largest public pool.  Clearwater Park is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day for campers, season pass holders, and daily visitors to enjoy.


  • Hours of Operation: open daily* 11 am – 7 pm
  • Opening Day: Friday, May 22, 2020
  • Closing Day: Monday, September 7, 2020
  • Dog Swim: Saturday, September 12, 2020

*The pool will be cleared & may be closed in the event of lightning within a 10-mile radius or a tornado warning.  The pool may be closed for other reasons including, but not limited to: power outages, mechanical failure, unsuitable weather conditions such as cool air temperatures, heavy wind/rain.  All weather conditions are subject to interpretation by management.



  • Pool: Outdoor swimming pool, zero-depth to 12 feet holding 550,000 gallons of (chlorinated) water.  Pool is unheated.  Lifeguards on duty.
  • Diving Board: Diving platform and diving board into a depth of 12 feet.
  • Large Slide: 144′ slide emptying into 4-ft pool.  Must be at least 52″ to ride alone. Must be 16 years old to assist someone under 52″.  Life vest, flotation devices, and goggles with nose pieces are not allowed on the slide.
  • Playground Slide: 12′ slide emptying into 3-ft pool.  One person at a time on the slide.
  • Turtle Slide: Toddler-only slide emptying into 20″ pool.
  • Umbrella Water Play: Tuck under the umbrella for a moment of shelter then dash back out while trying to dodge the waterfalls cascading over the canopy.



  • Ranger Station: Pool items such as floats, goggles, masks, and sunscreen available for purchase at the campground store.
  • Concession Stand: Burgers, hot dogs, personal size pizzas, and chips available.  Homemade ice cream and root beer made on-site!  Food purchased outside of the pool area is PROHIBITED.  Picnic area available outside of pool gate.
  • Coin operated lockers: $0.50 per entry
  • Changing rooms: Showers and changing rooms for men or women.  No family changing area available at this time.


  • Daily Admission: $13.50 per person (children under 30″ 1/2 price).  Valid for the entire day; hand must be stamped before leaving to receive re-entry on the same day.
  • Campground Guests: Free with valid wristband
  • Season Swim Pass: $99 per person (children under 30″ 1/2 price)
  • Lake Township Residents: Daily rate 1/2 price AFTER 3pm with valid photo ID.
  • Daily admission is NOT valid for campground activities or FAMILY FUN ZONE amenities.

All food and drink purchased outside the pool gate is prohibited to be brought into the pool area.  Concession stand available in pool area. Outside food is only permitted in the picnic area near the mini golf.  No alcohol permitted.  There is a place for you to park your cooler near the playground or you can leave it in your car.  Please clean up after yourselves by using the waste receptacles provided.  There are limited number of tables for our Clearwater Park guests to use, therefore, you are not allowed to use the table for longer than 1 hour. We no longer allow drop in picnics unless you are a paid Clearwater Park guest. Small flotation devices are permitted in shallow area up to the rope.  Floats are not permitted in 4-ft or deeper. Weather: The pool will be cleared and may be closed in the event of lightning within 10-mile radius or tornado warnings. NO SMOKING in all public areas.  Please use designated smoking area outside the pool gate. Swim Diapers: required for diaper-aged children.  Available for purchase at the pool gate for $1 + tax. Ages 4 & under: Adult 18 years of age or older must be within arm’s reach of the child at all times. Ages 5-12: Adult 18 years of age or older must have visual contact with the child at all times. Ages 13+: may enter the pool without an adult.  Lifeguards are not babysitters.  Please make sure your child is responsible enough to be unattended by an adult. Pool admission will be revoked without a refund for reasons of, but not limited to: Failure to follow posted rules, Failure to follow Lifeguard instructions, Failure to comply with property owners, management and/or staff, Vandalism or theft, Use of vulgar language, Use of membership card or wristband by anyone other than the cardholder or registered guest
