Welcome to Akron-Canton Jellystone Park’s exciting 2026 events calendar! We’re thrilled to invite families, friends, and Yogi Bear™ enthusiasts to a year packed with fun, adventure, and memorable experiences. Whether it’s waking up Yogi Bear™ from his hibernation, splashing into summer, or getting creative with out of this world activities, there’s something for everyone. Each weekend offers a new adventure, from color fun to farm escapades, water wars, and festive celebrations like Christmas in July and our Fall Festival. Join us for these fantastic, fun-filled weekends at Jellystone Park™, where laughter and joy are always part of the adventure!
May 1st–May 3rd: Wake Up Yogi Bear (Opening)
Shake off the winter chill—it’s time to help Yogi Bear™ and friends wake up from hibernation! Start the season with a warm, cozy celebration featuring fun games, themed crafts, and a complimentary morning spread of fresh donuts. The perfect kickoff to a brand-new camping season!
May 8th–May 10th: Mother’s Day Celebration
This weekend is all about Mom! Celebrate the amazing women in our lives with heartfelt activities, including Cindy Bear’s tea party complete with classic hot beverages and a keepsake mug craft. Enjoy classic camping fun together as a family while making memories Mom will cherish.
May 15th–May 17th: Movie Star Premiere
Lights, camera, action—it’s your time to shine! Step into the spotlight with movie-themed games, creative crafts, and Hollywood-inspired fun. Strut your stuff in our red-carpet fashion show, design your very own Walk of Fame star, and wrap up the night with a thrilling outdoor movie under the stars—complete with fresh-popped popcorn.
May 22nd–May 25th: Start to Summer Bash
School’s out and summer fun is officially in! Kick off the season with patriotic games, festive crafts, and all your favorite camp activities. The highlight of the long weekend is our Dive-In Movie Party at the pool—bring your favorite float and enjoy a classic movie, complete with exclusive concession specials to satisfy every craving.
May 29th–May 31st: Dino-Mite Adventure
Travel back in time as we explore the incredible world of dinosaurs! Enjoy a weekend filled with prehistoric games and hands-on crafts, become an archaeologist as you dig for real fossils, and join us for a silly dinosaur race that’s sure to bring big laughs.
June 5th–June 7th: Out of This World
Blast off for a weekend that’s truly out of this world! Explore the night sky with our telescope experience, design and launch your own rocket, and create a personalized constellation craft. Get ready for an extraterrestrial adventure that’s sure to leave you starstruck.
June 12th– June 14th: Cruisin’ with Yogi
Start your engines—it’s time for a weekend full of high-octane fun! Create your very own classic cardboard car and pull up to our drive-in movie, complete with fresh-popped popcorn. It’s pedal to the metal during this cars-themed weekend packed with wacky games, creative activities, and plenty of racing-themed excitement.
June 19th–June 21st: Father’s Day Celebration
This weekend is all about Dad! Celebrate the incredible men in our lives with meaningful activities, including designing a custom koozie for Dad to take home. Enjoy classic camping fun together as a family while making memories he’ll truly cherish.
June 26th–June 28th: Yogi Bear’s Birthday Bash
Yogi Bear™ wants to celebrate his birthday with you! Help us make this the best party ever as we decorate for his big surprise celebration and enjoy a slice of birthday cake. Join in on the fun as we throw Yogi a birthday bash he won’t forget!
July 3rd–July 6th: July 4th Celebration
This is no ordinary July 4th weekend—it’s the 250th anniversary celebration! Join us for a star-spangled lineup of patriotic fun, including a festive golf cart and bike parade, a “Chopped”-style grill-off competition, and our classic Water Wars event that’s guaranteed to make a splash. Celebrate America’s big milestone with a weekend packed full of red, white, and blue excitement!
July 10th–July 12th: Hawaiian Luau
Aloha! This weekend we’re embarking on a tropical island adventure. Cool off from the summer heat during our Water Wars games, enjoy exclusive tropical treats from our concessions stand, and bring your favorite pool float for a Dive-In Movie at the pool. Throw on your favorite Hawaiian shirt and get ready to slip into island time for a weekend full of laid-back tropical fun.
July 17th–July 19th: Color Splash
Dive into a weekend bursting with color! Jump into our vibrant rainbow foam party, play a round of after-hours glow mini golf, and experience a fun twist on tie-dye using squirt guns. Get ready—messy, colorful fun awaits!
July 24th–July 26th & July 31st –August 2nd: Christmas in July
This year, we have so much holiday fun planned that we’re bringing this popular theme back for two Weekends in a row! Explore a campground filled with festive cheer as you enjoy holiday gift exchanges with Santa Yogi™, cozy Christmas movies, a site decorating competition, and an ugly sweater (or t-shirt) contest. Both Weekends are packed with opportunities to create holiday keepsake crafts and play whimsical Christmas-themed games. Celebrate the magic of the season—summer style!
August 7th–August 9th: Mess Fest
Get ready to get messy—really messy! This ooey-gooey weekend is packed with wild games and activities that will leave you needing a change of clothes and plenty of wet wipes. Slide down our chocolate-syrup–covered slip ’n slide, paint with food, and gear up for the legendary Pudding Plop. It’s the ultimate weekend of carefree, splatter-filled fun!
August 14th–August 16th: Mystery Mayhem
Grab your magnifying glass and detective notepad—it’s time to solve some mysteries! Test your detective skills with our Mystery Bag Challenge, participate in a park-wide mystery scavenger hunt, and immerse yourself in a case-solving adventure to find the stolen picnic basket. Get ready for a weekend full of clues, puzzles, and suspenseful fun!
August 21st–August 23rd: Sharktacular Fun
It’s Shark Week at the park! Who knew sharks could be this much fun? Take part in our iconic Water Wars, test your ocean knowledge with shark-themed trivia, sip on our exclusive Shark Attack Slushie, and brave the swimming pool during a dive-in showing of Jaws (this movie may not be suitable for young audiences, rated PG). Get ready for a fantastic weekend full of splashy, shark-themed excitement!
August 28th–August 30th: Camping Carnival
Step right up—we’re bringing a good old-fashioned carnival to the park! Try your luck at a variety of classic carnival games, dunk your friends and family in the dunk tank, and enjoy all your favorite fair foods, including cotton candy, popcorn, hot dogs, and nachos from our concession stand. It’s a weekend full of bright lights, big laughs, and carnival fun for all ages!
September 4th–September 7th: Labor Day Pool Party
This is a weekend you won’t want to miss! Our beloved swimming pool has been a community staple since 1947. Known for its impressive size and iconic zero-entry design, it has welcomed hundreds of thousands of families across generations. With a brand-new aquatic facility scheduled to open for the 2027 season, this is your family’s last chance to enjoy this remarkable piece of local swimming history.
To celebrate the end of an era, we’re bringing all the fun to the pool for the entire weekend. Start your mornings with a refreshing Polar Bear Plunge, then enjoy cannonball contests, diving games, and patriotic crafts and activities right on the pool deck. Poolside movies will play throughout the day, and our biggest souvenir sale of the season will be happening all weekend long.
Capture memories with plenty of photo ops featuring the bears, and help create a giant paint-by-number mural honoring the history and heritage of this landmark. Don’t miss your chance to be among the final guests to experience this one-of-a-kind pool before we make a splash into the next chapter of our story.
September 11th–September 13th: Furry Friends Weekend
This weekend is all about your furry friends! We invite guests with tent or RV sites to bring along their dogs for a celebration centered entirely around them. Splash around at our Dog Water Park featuring a wading pool and playful dog-friendly water features, show off your pup’s style in our dog costume contest, and create a custom tie-dye dog bandanna. Enjoy dog-themed games, crafts, and plenty of tail-wagging fun all weekend long!
September 18th–September 20th: Fun on the Farm
Experience a weekend full of down-home fun with farm-themed games and activities, including pigpen races, milk-the-cow relays, and a variety of hands-on crafts. In the evening, gather around our community bonfire and enjoy a delicious pie-iron pie as we wrap up a cozy, country-style weekend on the farm.
September 25th–September 27th: Junior Ranger Boot Camp
Step right up, recruits—Ranger Smith™ needs your help! This weekend, we’re training campers to become certified Junior Rangers. Test your skills with fire-building and tent-pitching competitions, explore the park during a nature scavenger hunt, and bring your flashlight for a nighttime orienteering course that leads you straight to an outdoor screening of the Yogi Bear™ movie. Get ready for a weekend full of adventure, teamwork, and ranger-worthy fun!
