It’s not a Jellystone Park day until you spot a bear in a tie. Around here, Yogi Bear™ pops out most days, on the lookout for a “pic-a-nic” basket to (ahem) “borrow” and kids to meet. You’ll also see surprise visits from his pals as they make the rounds to campsites and common areas. These Jellystone Park character meet-and-greets are part of the experience for registered campers all season long.

Yogi Bear™ — The Lovable Ringleader
Smarter than your average bear, Yogi first got his own TV series in 1961, and he’s been raiding picnic baskets in Jellystone Park ever since. His “smarter than the average bear” catchphrase and cap-and-tie look made him a TV icon, and he even starred in a 2010 feature film. Despite often being mischievous in his efforts to find his next meal, Yogi is always around to lend a helping hand to campers and fellow animals alike. His generosity and cheerful personality have made him a favorite for decades.

Boo Boo™ — The Voice of Reason
Boo Boo is Yogi’s pint-sized best friend and conscience. He is always polite, usually cautious, and forever trying to keep Yogi out of trouble with Ranger Smith, often saying, “But Yogi, Mr. Ranger isn’t gonna like this.” He’s been at Yogi’s side since those early TV years and his straight-laced personality balances Yogi’s love of mischief perfectly. Yogi always greets him with an enthusiastic “Hey, Boo Boo!”

Cindy Bear™ — The Charming Trendsetter
Cindy brings graceful Southern flair to Jellystone. Introduced during the classic TV era, she’s been trying to win Yogi over for years. Cindy’s soft spot for Yogi let her accept his exploits and keep her dreaming about settling down one day. She is best known for her sweetness, style, and trademark phrase “Ah do declare!”

Ranger Smith™ — Jellystone’s Steady Hand
Known to the bears as “Mr. Ranger,” Ranger Smith is the long-suffering, but fair, head park ranger of Jellystone Park. He is often trying to stop Yogi from stealing campers’ picnic baskets. While they are sometimes at odds, Ranger Smith and Yogi are still friends. Ranger Smith keeps things running smoothly at Jellystone Park while Yogi dreams up his next scheme.
